Vacancy - Pastor

Currently Living Hope has a pastoral vacancy. We are calling pastors continuously to find a shepherd to led our flock closer to God. We have guest preachers most Sundays to lead worship. When no guest preacher is avaiable, our church elder or president leads our service.

Jeremiah Weirich - Treasurer

Jeremiah was born in Aurora, IL. He attended to high school at LPS in Watertown, WI. He earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Illinois. After graduation in 2006, he moved to the Peoria area and has worked as a project engineer for Cyient, Inc. In his role at Cyient, he currently does onsite contract engineering work for the mechanical custom packaging team in the Large Power Systems Divison of Caterpillar, located in Mossville. He and his wife Rachel became members of Living Hope in 2006 and married in 2007. Together, they have 2 girls, ages 8yrs and 6yrs, and a 9 month old boy at their home in Chillicothe. He enjoys playing sports, exercising, watching movies, listening music, and playing video games.

Josh Bainbridge - Secretary

Josh grew up in Galva, IL. He join Living Hope as a member in 2018 with his wife and son. All three were baptized at Living Hope. He works for ATS as an engineer.

Jim Unruh - Elder

Jim is originally from Milwaukee, WI, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineer. He currently works at Caterpillar’s Technical Center in Product Development. Jim and his wife Julie have two children. Jim enjoys sports and movies.

Jason Preis - President

Jason was born and raised in northern Illinois. He attended Bradley University in Peoria where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. After graduation he began his career at Caterpillar, where he currently works in engine performance development in Mossville, IL. Jason is married and has one child, a son. Jason’s hobbies include movies, music, photography, cars and motorsports, and the local craft beer scene.

Dan Schnell - Financial Secretary

Dan is originally from Appleton, WI and moved to Peoria in 2013 after attending UW-Platteville. He has been a member of Living Hope ever since. He currently works for Caterpillar in their Electronic Components team as a hardware design engineer. Dan and his wife Lizzie enjoy watching football, visiting breweries, & hiking with their two dogs.
