Meet Our Pastor:
Hello! Thanks for visiting our website. Maybe we will have the privilege of meeting you in person some day! I am Paul
Schulz, the pastor of Living Hope. I have been serving Living Hope since May of 2008. Prior to serving at Living Hope the
Lord gave me the privilege of serving as a tutor at Luther Preparatory High School in Watertown, WI. It was a great
experience not only to teach a religion course to that age group but also to live in the dormitory with the students for two
years. After serving there I was assigned to serve as pastor at two congregations on the Great Plains of north-central
South Dakota. I served those two congregations for five years before receiving the Call to serve Living Hope in Peoria. I
received my education at Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN and Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in Mequon, WI.
Family
Let me introduce you to my family. My wife’s name is Anna. We met while we were both teaching at Luther Preparatory
High School in Watertown, WI. She taught Spanish for three years there before we married in 2004. She has been a world
traveler, as her dad was a missionary serving in many places including the Czech Republic and Bulgaria. Her Spanish
training has also taken her to Mexico and Ecuador. Now she is very content to be at home with our daughter, Emily. Emily
was born on January 6th, 2006. Our family would love to meet your family!
